Headteacher's Welcome
Welcome to Co-op Academy Hillside, a school at the heart of a proud community.
Head of School's Welcome
I am delighted to be writing to you as the new Head of School of Co-op Academy Hillside.
As Head of School, it is with great pride and excitement that I extend a warm welcome to all of our families, pupils, and the wider community. Our school is more than just a place of learning; it is a thriving, supportive community where every individual is valued and encouraged to achieve their best.
We are incredibly proud of the journey we are on together. Whether you're a pupil entering our doors for the first time, a parent supporting your child's growth, or a member of our wider community, you play an essential part in the success and spirit of our school.
Together, we will continue to foster an environment of inclusivity, respect, and ambition, where every pupil has the opportunity to thrive both academically and personally. We celebrate our diversity, our achievements, and the strong partnerships we share, knowing that when we work hand in hand, we can overcome any challenge and achieve great things. Being part of the Co-op Academies Trust enables us to work in partnership and cooperation with others underpinned by Co-op values, ensuring we work together and succeed.

Executive Headteacher's Welcome
During my time in education, I have held many different roles, including a previous Headship at another Wirral school and Head of Special Educational Needs and Disability for the Local Authority. I am also the Executive headteacher at Co-op Academy Woodslee and Co-op Academy Portland . Throughout all my roles, Inclusion has always been my driving force. I believe passionately that the school should be a place of care, love and tolerance.
It is the responsibility of my staff and I to ensure that the highest standard of teaching and learning is achieved for all pupils at Co-op Academy Hillside and I want us to capitalise on the `Power of Parents` to support us in accomplishing this for your child. In the near future, we will be inviting parents into school for assemblies, coffee mornings and to share our learning. I look forward to working with you in partnership to secure the very best outcomes for your children.
